The 2005 Kana Winery "Dark Star" is a blend of 66% Syrah, 23% Grenache and 11% Mourvedre. Aromas of black pepper and clove; flavors consisting of blackberry, cherry and licorice; It's a bit one-dimensional right now, but I'd give it a little time to develop. Drink now or hold through 2012. 1000 case production (PH).
