SARTORI DI VERONA Other Reds 2004
designation: Vigneti di Montegradella
vineyard: N/A
region: Italy - Veneto

Sartori Just when you think you might be able to identify the varietals you are tasting along comes a great wine that throws you a curve. This Valpolicella is made from 50% Corvina, 40% Rondinella, 10% Molinara grapes and this is a very harmonious blend. The 15 months spent in Slavonian Oak adjusted the flavor profile making the origins even harder to pin down. It is a big large structured wine with dark fruit and herbaceous aromas. The flavors explode, vibrant fruit and balanced acidity make this a joyous sensory experience; the texture in your mouth is full with density and the finish is seductive. A great food wine that will pair with almost anything except delicate seafood or citrus sauces enjoy this one soon.

Score: 90 | Ratings Value: $13.00 ABV: 13.0%
