BENZIGER Chardonnay 2005

Benziger

This wine is a bio-dynamically farmed Sonoma County wine from the 2005 vintage and this Chardonnay is big and spicy in a way that is befitting a well made white wine. This wine wowed us with its close resemblance to a fine made Chablis from France. Burgundian style and open generous fruit with a finish that makes you remember the name of this wine.

The aromas began with honeysuckle and tropical vanilla bean, and the flavors were huge like a ripe pear with fresh-grated spice nuances. If you want to impress and show you have the confidence to make a statement of conscience and commitment, bring this one to dinner. ~ Marc Hinton
