This wine showcases the talents of one of Willamette Valley's up and coming young winemakers, Jerry Murray. This wine is extremely full-bodied for a Northern Willamette Valley Pinot Noir. The wine is a powerhouse of a Pinot Noir right out of the gate with up front aromas that already tell you this is a big-boy Pinot. It would hold its own with Peppercorn Crusted Rack of Lamb or a Smoky Virginia Ham. With an attractive soft texture the suppleness of this wine appeals the moment you move past the deep dark stone fruit aromas of black plum and vanilla into the flavors of bing cherry, white pepper and a combination I can only describe as floral and spicy at the same time.
