WineSmith Cabernet Franc

This wine hit all the notes I'm looking for in a Cabernet franc and this wine deserves recognition – it's extremely clean, a back to basics style that really blows me away.

It has forward, clean black fruit and violet flavors with a spicy, rich finish. I couldn't get over how balanced the wine was – and the complexity was superb. It had a nice soft tannin structure and a long, smooth finish.

If you haven't tried a Cabernet franc, do yourself a favor and buy a bottle to taste how good this variety can be – and for those who love Cab franc, you will simply love this rendition! I'd classify this as one of my favorite Cabernet francs. It's really that good. ~Pamela Heiligenthal
