Fescenino Tempranillo

Made from 100% Tempranillo, the soft yet strongly appealing 2006 Bodegas y Vinedos Juan-Manuel Burgos Ribera del Duero Fescenino has an allure that transcends its proprietary components resulting in a hookup of flavors.

Aromas are a complete bouquet of briar-patch berry and the smells of a good patisserie and a busy Starbucks combined.

On the palate, the wine is tannic with three years in the making. Our judgment says that this wine will be an absolutely safe bet to hang on to for a while. We'd suggest holding it for a few years and cellar through 2012.
This wine paired well with fresh spring spinach, wild mushrooms and caramelized leek tart and it's definitely a wine that will stand up to larger flavors with ease. Get some and get serious with your cooking!
