Lockwood Cabernet

With immense climate variation within the Monterey County AVA you never know what you will find. This wine was heavily discounted and was a bit off in the beginning - after ample breathing time it produced some pleasant rewards. The wine has dark cherry and fresh tobacco on the palate and a pleasant medium-long finish with
no apparent flaws. Drink now through 2010 - do not stock up on it, as this wine will not age well. ~Marc Hinton
