Kaiken Malbec

It seemed time to revisit this wine on paper. I drink this more often than almost any other wine that I choose to drink more than once.

The 2007 Kaiken from the Mendoza region of Argentina is a mouth-watering Malbec made by Montes from Chile. Hey, I think that was what I said before.

This vintage has heavy red fruit and spice aromas and the taste on the tongue is very ripe dark berry dark

and expressing the terrior that was barely present two years ago and now is showing what a few decades of good weather and great choice in terrior composition and location may bring. This winery will keep all others on their toes. The quality to price-ratio makes this a colossal deal. Drink now. ~Marc Hinton
