Barnard Griffin

This style of syrah is a pretty common Eastern Washington vintners style and for my tastes they are too pretty and bordering on being a fruit bomb that is too much flash without a backbone of texture and finish I look for in Syrah.

Many will disagree with me on this one and if the style I just described is what you like you will enjoy this wine. It will not be the favorite of
anyone who appreciates balance or restraint and the word subtle will never be spoken in conjunction with the description of this wine, if that is what you like this wine is for you. ~Marc Hinton
