Bonny Doon Ca' Del Solo

If you're looking for a kick butt versatile red which pairs with a number of culinary delights, you'll be in for a treat with Bonny Doon's biodynamic '06 Ca' Del Solo Sangiovese. It's one of those value wines that make you rush out to buy a case after trying just one sip.

This wine is primarily Sangiovese but it has a splash of Freisa, Syrah and Grenache. The later grapes seem to give this wine a kick of dense pepper, plum and sweet tannin flavors but I think you'll love this wine for it's old world minerally, cherry and tobacco flavors

that integrate well with it's elegant and exotic spice. It's a great expression of Sangiovese that's intensely flavored and seriously luscious. ~Pamela Heiligenthal
