VILLA FIORITA Pinot Noir

A good representation of the varietal combined with the terroir of the Piedmont region. This was a pleasant surprise from an area not known to most consumers as a place you can find quality wines made from the pinot noir grape.

A broad expression of fruit in the aromas, mostly raspberry and cherry with woodsy overtones pulls together an interesting blend of smells. The flavors continue in the

fruity balanced vein already expressed in the aromas. A food friendly approachable wine, this one will pair with grilled seafood and smoky ham and would be at home with grilled lamb or pork.

Seek this one out as it flies under the radar of many critics. This one will make a great Christmas Gift for the wine collector who is hard to please. ~Marc Hinton
